If you’ve been keeping up with us, you’ll know that we work closely with the incredible Bajans Helping Bajans – an organisation and community Facebook page which delivers food hampers, clothing, and more to vulnerable families in Barbados.
We donate monthly to the local food banks, in order to provide healthy, nourishing meals to families and children who otherwise may struggle.
Bajans Helping Bajans work with an amazing cake lady named Julia Holder, who donates one cake per month to each of the families we deliver food hampers too. Julia asks for the children’s favourite colours and characters, and designs a cake completely bespoke for each family. Throughout June, Julia has been busy creating the cakes above (amongst others) – how talented?!
We’re always so humbled to see the huge smiles on the children’s faces, and we’re proud to help create some birthday magic. Contributing towards and giving back to the local community is something we hold close to our hearts.
