Get the lowdown on Barbados weddings at Merlin Bay:

Here’s a run through of our current booking details, and 2023 wedding information:

Legalities – Those getting married will need permission from an officiating minster. Read our previous weddings in Barbados blogs for further details

Wedding privacy – In order to hire Merlin Bay as a private wedding venue, guests will need to book out all villas. This will allow for unequalled privacy, and to allow you to celebrate your wedding with only your nearest and dearest.

Minimum stays – There is a 7 night minimum stay for all villas, with this increasing to 14 during the Christmas period.

Wedding timings – You are able to get wed at any time during the day. We’re currently offering the ceremony alone, and hope to offer the evening reception in the future.

Ceremony location – Take your pick! Merlin Bay is set amongst stunning tropical gardens, offering a large lagoon pool, a private sandy beach, and incredible ocean views. So whether you select a poolside, or beach ceremony, you’re certain to have a beautiful backdrop for the I Do’s.
